To fly over Sydney is a rare and wonderful joy. You take off and the ground slowly falls beneath your feet, and over the course of a few minutes the city reveals its secrets.
From the air, you see Sydney in its most raw and beautiful form. The bold colours bouncing off the city skyline, the lonely inlets that line the harbour, the wild and rugged stretch of coast along the northern beaches, the houses dotted neatly on the streets, and the mountains that make the inland suburbs so lush and green.
This month, in collaboration with Sydney photographer, Gabriel Scanu (@gabscanu), we set out to explore the city from above. What we found was a city that finds a rare balance between the natural and the man made.
